Beijing Will Issue Olympics Gold Medal Winner Stamps

BEIJING Within 48 hours of Chinese athletes winning a gold medal in the Olympics, the China Postal Service will issue stamps and commemorative covers of the winner, the World Journal reports. It's the first time that China has issued "Olympics gold medal" special stamps. They will immediately go into circulation and will expire after the Beijing Olympics. This is China's first experiment of temporary stamps.The stamps' face value is 1.2 RMB (about 20 US cents).
