Police Accused of Racial Profiling in Alameda Murder Investigation

YO! Youth Outlook Multimedia, Video, Min Lee Posted: Dec 18, 2007

Editor's Note: The Halloween night murder of Ichinkhorloo Bayarsaikhan in Alameda led to a serious investigation by Alameda police. Eight people were arrested. Two Southeast Asian boys were charged with the murder and their names were leaked to the media -- they were later released. Community members felt that police resorted to racial profiling tactics and held a protest. YO!TV spoke to the cousin and sister of one of the boy's arrested and then released.
