Self-Syndicated Columnist Ray Hanania Wins Ethnic Media Award

NEW YORK Columnist Ray Hanania is one of the winners of a National Ethnic Media Award (NEMA) from New American Media, an ethnic-media association.
The self-syndicated Hanania, who often writes on Mideast issues and Arab-Jewish relations, won in the commentary category for pieces he did for the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.
Hanania, whose column was formerly distributed by Creators Syndicate, is also a political reporter for Chicago's Southwest News-Herald.
The NEMA honors will be presented Nov. 14 in Washington, D.C.
