AKRON – Tiger Woods will soon become the first billionaire in sports history, with the prize money and endorsements he'll earn this year adding up to $85 million, reports Black Entertainment Television. Woods’ 12 major victories puts him at just six shy of the record 18 majors held by golf great Jack Nicklaus, whom Woods idolized as a child. Despite losing a three strike lead to Steward Cink at Akron’s Firestone Country Club, he remains number one in the world and took home his fifth World Golf Championship victory.
