World Journal, Posted: Nov 16, 2008

NEW YORK A Chinese-American couple who owns a restaurant and hired undocumented immigrants is being charged by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). If convicted, they could be sentenced to 75 years in prison and pay a penalty of $750,000. The World Journal reports that 10 undocumented immigrants were arrested in a raid on two houses and a restaurant owned by the couple Guo Hua Jiang and Kian Chun Liu. The prosecutor said the couple has been hiring one or more undocumented immigrants since February and they also owe taxes. The prosecution has threatened to confiscate the couples two houses and two cars.
