NAPCA Begins Search for New CEO

A national search is under way for a president and chief executive officer of the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging (NAPCA), Nguoi Viet reports.

The president and CEO of the $14-million not-for-profit organization with a staff of more than 25 full time employees is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization and the implementation of the overall strategic, operational and financial well-being of the organization. The successful candidate should have experience working with the Asian Pacific American (APA) community and have a passion for serving APA seniors.

NAPCAs mission is to serve as the nations leading advocacy organization committed to the dignity, wellbeing and quality of life of Asian Pacific Americans in their senior years.

''For 30 years, NAPCA has provided important employment and training programs and other much needed services to APA seniors. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate and excited about NAPCAs mission,'' said John Q. Duong, NAPCA board chairman.
