Dreamers Travel to DNC on 'UndocuBus'

Posted: Aug 21, 2012

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- More than 35 undocumented immigrant students, or DREAMers, are heading to the Sept. 3 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina in an "UndocuBus," reports La Opinión. The bus, decorated with orange monarch butterflies, has made stops in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana and Tennessee. Bus riders say they will "perform peaceful protest and civil disobedience to challenge the promoters of hate and set an example of love and fearlessness."
