Little Saigon Tet Parade Board of Organizers: Stop discriminating against VA LGBTs from participating in the Tet parade.

Posted: Feb 04, 2013

"On behalf of the Partnership of Vietnamese LGBT Organizations, we are asking for your support in investigating the Little Saigon Tet Parade Board of Organizers for discriminatory practices," writes change.org to Tet organizers in Little Saigon, Orange County, Ca. " We understand the leadership includes the Vietnamese American Federation of Southern California, South Vietnamese Marines Association, and the Vietnamese American Interfaith Council."

The organizers, according the change.org, "plan to exclude Vietnamese-American LGBTs from participating in the Tet parade for this and future years. In 2010, the City ruled that these groups could not discriminate against LGBTs in the Tet Parade." Read more here
