Obama Portrayed as Saint in Latino Newspaper

BOSTON Barack Obama is compared to a saint on the front page of the Nov. 6, 2008 edition of Bostons weekly Spanish-language newspaper El Planeta. The frontpage article is titled, San Martn de Obama and includes 12 illustrations of Obama dressed in robes and holding a crucifix. The article calls the Illinois senators quick rise to the presidency a miracle. Obama has achieved miracle after miracle feats worthy of a saint, El Planeta reports. "We will see what this saint is made of.
