Atlanta's Mexican Consulate Sponsors Labor Rights Week

ATLANTA, Ga.--Aiming to build ties with a variety of labor institutions and provide information to migrant workers, the Mexican Consulate in Atlanta will organize a “Week of Labor Rights,” reports Atlanta Latino. The event will feature free talks by such groups as the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Occupational Health and Safety Administration. For those who can’t attend the seminars, local radio stations will host three talks on labor rights during which a labor lawyer, a consulate representative and others will respond to call-in questions from listeners.
