Father Cutié Gets Married

El Nuevo Herald, Posted: Jun 16, 2009

MIAMI -- The priest who left the Catholic Church after a tabloid published photos of him in May kissing his girlfriend, got married on Tuesday, reports El Nuevo Herald. Alberto Cutié and Ruhama Canellis were wed by a judge in Coral Gables, according to Miami-Dade County court records. Cutié recently left the Catholic Church to become an Episcopal priest after photographs of him and his girlfriend on the beach called into question his commitment to his vow of celibacy.
