Seinfeld Star Promotes Mid-East Peace

Watan Newspaper, Posted: Jul 08, 2009

ANAHEIM, Calif. American Jewish actor Jason Alexander, known for his role as George on Seinfeld, was recently in Jerusalem to promote a youth project on imagining and realizing peace in the Middle East, reports Watan Newspaper. "The hope is the younger generation. They are an integral part in creating, if not the beginnings of peace, then the fruits of peace," Alexander said.

Alexander was attending a meeting with OneVoice, a global peace organization, which launched its Imagine 2018 project last year that asked Palestinian and Israeli youth ages 13 through 18 to submit stories explaining how they would picture Middle East peace in 2018.
