Join NAM in Atlanta for the United States' largest convening of ethnic media.

New America Media, Press Release, Posted: Jan 22, 2009

Join NAM in Atlanta for the United States' largest convening of ethnic media: New America Media's National Ethnic Media EXPO & Awards, presented in partnership with the University of Georgia Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication, this June 4-5, 2009.

NAM will also be hosting a series of events for the ethnic media between January and June leading up to the EXPO & Awards, in an effort to bolster the robust ethnic media community of Atlanta and cultivate support for the June Awards. The first of these events will be a newsmaker briefing with Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin on Monday, Jan. 26.

At the National EXPO & Awards, NAM and UGA will present not only the much-anticipated awards ceremony, honoring ethnic media from news outlets nationwide, but also a gala dinner and a host of seminars and workshops designed expressly for the ethnic media. Don't miss this unique opportunity to network with ethnic media colleagues, to build the national profile of your organization, and to augment your journalistic skill with new ideas.
