Sixty Percent of Chinese Voted Against Prop. 8

LOS ANGELES About 60 percent Chinese American voters were against Prop. 8, the largest percentage of any major Asian communy, according to the Asian Pacific American Legal Center of Southern California.

The Sing Tao Daily reports that Asians attitude to same-sex marriage is shaped by four main factors: ethnicity, age, English language fluency, and religion. Young Asians who speak fluent English and dont go to church are most likely to support same-sex marriage.
