Asian American Obesity on the Rise

LOS ANGELES - The World Journal reports that in the past two years, the obesity rate among Asian American children has grown to match the rate among none-Asian children. In California, the obesity rate among Asian children is now 11 percent. According to May Wang, professor of UCLA School of Public Health, a recent study found that the diabetes rate among Asian American children is now 60 percent higher than that of Caucasian children.
