Posted: Nov 07, 2012

Maryland voters on Tuesday passed the Maryland Dream Act, which will allow undocumented immigrants to pay in-state tuition rates, making Maryland the first state in the nation to pass a state version of the Dream Act by popular vote. Voters also upheld the state's same-sex marriage law, making Maryland and Maine, which also approved same-sex marriage, the first two states in the country to approve same-sex marriage by a popular vote.
