Drug Traffickers Send Death Threat Via YouTube

TIJUANA, Mex. -- A web video posted on YouTube this week contained a death threat for the Baja California state prosecutor Antonio Martínez Luna, reports San Diego’s Spanish-language newspaper Enlace. The 54-second clip was posted anonymously but is allegedly from a drug trafficking group operating in the area, according to a report by the Agencia Fronteriza de Noticias. The video suggests that Martinez protected the Sinaloa Cartel, a group Mexican authorities say is disputing the reining Tijuana Cartel for control of drug trafficking in the region. Mexico's federal prosecutor rejected any such relationship.
