Filipino Fans Cheer Manny Pacquiao's TKO Of Ricky Hatton

San Mateo, California -- Filipino fans in the San Francisco Bay Area gathered in a Filipino restaurant, "Alimango" [Crabs] to watch the Pacquiao-Hatton title fight and cheer their boxing hero, Manny Pacquiao.

Pacquiao beat Hatton via technical knockout in the second round at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday night U.S. time [Sunday - Manila time], winning the light welterwieght crown. The "Pacman", considered the world's best pound-for-pound fighter, matched a boxing record by taking the title in his sixth different weight class.

I didnt expect a short fight. He hit me hard, I was lucky to have hit him with a right hook. He was surprised with my right hand. Yes, he was strong, and I was careful of not being hit.

A left hook to the jaw sends Hatton to the floor. Hatton was on the floor for a time after Pacquiao knocks him down for the second time during the second round. Hatton got knocked down also in the first round, the first time the British fighter has been sent to the floor in an early round. Hattons parents were in shock.

Hatton who seems to be slower than Pacquiao is now struggling to protect himself from the faster Pacquiao. Hatton wants a close-quarter fight but Pacquiao maintains his distance. Pacquiao KOs Hatton with a few seconds left in the 2nd round. Hatton is badly hurt.
