Video of Arpaio Sheriffs' Treatment of Dead Inmate

Posted: Dec 28, 2011

A video released last Friday from the Maricopa County Sheriff's office raises more questions about the Dec. 16 death of a Latino miltary veteran who was being held in custody.

The video shows a number of officers surrounding the unarmed inmate. The offcers then wrestled the veteran, Marty Atenciao, to the ground and tased him before he became unconscious.

The video is sure to outrage Latino advocates in Maricopa County who have been calling for the County Sherriff Joe Arpaio’s resignation.
